Xingcheng Special Steel is China's special steel boutique manufacturing base under CITIC Group and the world's largest special steel production base. The company’s leaders attach great importance to corporate social responsibility and employee occupational health and safety, and vigorously implement a clean production plan in the company, and select the tundish turning platform in the steel-making workshop as a pilot plant for dust control in the workshop.

After multiple rounds of tests and comparisons by Xingcheng Special Steel Equipment Department, Steelmaking Plant and other departments, the costly closed dust removal hood solution that cannot be installed on site is eliminated, and the dry mist suppression that cannot cope with explosive and hot dust is eliminated. Finally, we selected the chemical spray dust suppression technology program provided by Hangzhen Energy, and took the lead in realizing the practical application of spray dust suppression technology in the steelmaking process in China, providing a demonstration for other domestic steelmaking enterprises.
During the dumping and unloading operation of Xingcheng Special Steel's No. 1 steelmaking tundish, intermittent dust was very serious, and the measured dust concentration on site reached more than 600mg/m3. After the dumping and unloading operation, serious dust pollution will be caused to the environment of this post and the surrounding area.

In order to suppress the impact of dust in the tundish turning process on the post and the surrounding environment, Hangzhen Energy has creatively introduced a safe and environmentally friendly dust agglomerate agent that is harmless to the human body on the basis of the original spray dust suppression technology, which not only improves the spray effect The attractiveness of dust, greatly improves the speed and range of spray diffusion, and effectively suppresses explosive dust in the process of turning over.

After the tundish turning platform uses the mist and dust suppression device provided by Hangzhen Energy, the dust concentration of the post is greatly reduced, and the measured on-site is only 25.1mg/m3. The entire package turning operation takes about 3 minutes to turn the middle package, consumes about 18 standard cubic meters of compressed air, consumes about 160 liters of water, consumes about 225 ml of medicament, and consumes only 0.2 kilowatt-hours of electricity each time.
